I've been playing music since I was 2 years old (since 1966). I started out with pots and pans in the kitchen changing the tones by putting soup cans in them. Weird, but worked. When I wa about 3 or 4 I think, my parents got me a recorder which was fun for a while.In the 4th grade I took trumpet lessons with Jim Kurty and played 1st trumpet in the Brattleboro All-School Elementary Marching Band and concert band (Brattleboro, VT).
